The UNITWIN Cooperation Programme on Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue (MILID) is based on an initiative from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAoC). The main objectives of the UNITWIN network are to foster collaboration among member universities, to build capacity in each of the countries in order to empower them to advance media and information literacy and intercultural dialogue, and to promote freedom of speech, freedom of information and the free flow of ideas and knowledge.

Nordicom-Sveriges Mediebarometer 2013

Mediebarometern genomfördes första gången 1979 och har sedan dess genomförts varje år. Den översiktspublikation som nu utges är således den 35e i ordningen. Vi kan också notera att det är 20 år sedan Nordicom övertog ansvaret för Mediebarometern från Sveriges Radios Publik- och programforskningsavdelning, som upphörde 1993.

Med egna ord: Barn och deras föräldrar om vad som kan vara obehagligt på internet

EU Kids Online II är ett forskningsprojekt med en stor datainsamling om internetanvändande 9-16-åringar och deras föräldrar i 25 europeiska länder, företrädesvis inom EU. I varje land intervjuades ca 1 000 barn och deras föräldrar under år 2010. Undersökningen gäller alltså inte alla barn i 9-16-årsåldern utan de 9-16-åringar som använder internet.
