New members of Nordicom’s scientific advisory board
Nordicom’s scientific advisory board has two new members: Marko Ala-Fossi, University of Tampere and Stig Hjarvard, University of Copenhagen.
Nordicom has a scientific advisory board that meets every year to discuss issues of crucial strategic significance. The members of the board are nominated by the national research associations in each country, and participate in the board for four years.
Every other year, two or three new members are elected. This year it was time for Demanrk and Finland to elect new members. Stig Hjarvard (University of Copenhagen) replaces Kim Schrøder (Roskilde University) and Marko Ala-Fossi (University of Tampere) replaces Hannu Nieminen (University of Helsinki).
The new alternate board members are: Kjetil Sandvik (University of Copenhagen) and Epp Lauk (University of Jyväskylä).
