A report investigating cultural policy governance throughout the Nordic region has been published by Kulturanalys Norden. It shows, amongst other things, that the responsibility for cultural policy is increasingly shifting from the national to the regional level.

New media subsidy scheme suggested in Sweden

The Swedish government has suggested platform-neutral media subsidies, aiming to strengthen local journalism. Over a transitional period, the current press subsidy system will run parallel to the new scheme. The proposals are expected to enter into force in early 2019.

Norsk medietidsskrift 1/2018 deals with topics like law and ethics, digital radio and methodical criticism.
