The International Clearinghouse on Children, Youth and Media collects and documents research and other information on children, youth and media around the world. Through publications, joint projects and this web site the Clearinghouse aims at broadening and contextualizing this knowledge, increasing awareness and promoting media and information literacy.

The Clearinghouse is based at NORDICOM at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Yearbook Launch at Jordan Media Institute

The Clearinghouse Yearbook of 2016 "Opportunities for Media and Information Literacy in the Middle East and North Africa" is now published. The book was presented at an event at the Jordan Media Institute in Amman together with the editors Magda Abu-Fadil, Jordi Torrent and Alton Grizzle.

MIL in the MENA-region

Call for Tenders

World Summit on Media for Children 2020

The World Summit on Media for Children Foundation (WSMCF) is calling for tenders to host the World summit on Media for Children in 2020. See the Events page for further information. In 2017 the Summit will take place in Manchester, UK, hosted by BBC Children's.
