Edupax in a not for profit organisation based in Québec, Canada, whose mission is to educate children and adolescents about abusive strategies to increase screen-time exposure. Its main purpose is to raise awareness, critical judgment, and freedom of expression of coming generations, including parents and teachers. In order to protect youth from screen addiction, Edupax created the 10-Day Screen-Free Challenge, a playful educational program to increase the will and power of youth in their digital environment. Well over 450 schools, in Canada and France, have offered students to experience it with various real-life benefits. Screen-freedom is an essential part of today's education for the 21st century. Protecting children from «material injurious to their well-being» has become mandatory for all States concerned with the world Convention for the Rights of the Child. Edupax is also committed to promoting legislation to ban advertising that targets children.
