The prime tasks of Nordicom as an institution are to publicize the findings of media and communication research and to document developments in the respective national media sectors of the Nordic countries. We do this through the publication of periodicals, anthologies, monographs, and statistical data and analyses.

Nordicom publishes a semi-annual journal in the Nordic languages, Nordicom Information. The price of a subscription is SEK 250 per year (VAT exclusive), or SEK 200 for students and members of the national associations of mass communication and media researchers in the Nordic region. Subscribe
Subscribe to Nordicom Review
Nordicom publishes a semi-annual journal in the English languages, Nordicom Review (refereed). Researchers in the Nordic countries receive complimentary copies of Nordicom Review as a bonus when they subscribe to Nordicom Information. Researchers and other users outside the Nordic region may subscribe free of charge. Subscribe
Purchase single titles
The various portals present Nordicom's publications in the respective subject areas. The menu to the left in this page offers a list of all titles published to date, with an ORDER button alongside each. Orders are collected in a shopping cart. See About Shopping for further details.
Most of Nordicom's books are published as open access simultaneously as in print form. The articles in Nordicom Review are published online first, before the printed version.
When you have chosen a publication click the Add to cart button. This will update the shopping cart on the left side of the page. To order more, continue to the next publication; otherwise, click on View Cart, where you can edit the number of copies of the publication(s) you have chosen. Next click on Check-Out and follow the instructions. You may change or cancel the process at any time by clicking Update or Remove. When you have submitted your order, you will recive an order confirmation on the screen as well as by e-mail.
Prices and discounts
VAT (6 % on orders from within the European Union) and postage are not included in the prices quoted. Students, members of the national associations of mass communication and media researchers, and libraries are offered a 20 % discount (Please note: This discount is not applicable to subscriptions to the “Nordicom Package”).
Postage costs and delivery time
Postage fees will be added to the sum of your purchase. Orders are normally delivered within seven days.
Orders are normally accompanied by an invoice, with payment terms of 30 days. Payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard/Eurocard), can be made after you have received the invoice. Please contact email@example.com for further information.
